Are there DVC discounts on Fireworks/Illuminations cruises?

I just booked a Fireworks cruise today for next Monday night (can't believe we were able to get one this close to the day!). After reading about other discounts for water activities I was wondering if there were any discounts for DVC members for these cruises? Thanks for any help

We booked one last Sept and there was no discount. I really didn't enjoy it very much because you can only see what is directly in front of you. You are under a bridge not that close. It was nice for something a little different but I won't spend the money again. I hope you enjoy it.

Talk about different opinions-I would not go to Illuminations without renting a boat-I rent the speed -boat when I go to it-it is the only way to avoid the masses of people that attend the Illuminations show. Did you rent a boat for Illuminations or the MK fireworks show?? There are not any discounts, but I have not gone in a few years, I doubt they would discount it.

I couldn't agree more. I will never be able to view Illuminations any other way again. I've realized over the years and as the trees around the lagoon have gotten larger that there are very few choice locations to view the fireworks. Years ago there was almost no bad spots now there I few good ones and those that are, for the most part, are reserved for groups (i.e. the terrace by Italy/France, the terrace by the Rose and Crown). We are booked for April 22 and can't wait!

Thanks everyone - I just thought if there was a discount I could have them apply it. We are going on the Wishes Fireworks cruise. My teenage daughter has a friend that will be at WDW with her family and we thought this would be a nice way to get together for an evening. They have a 4 and 6 year old plus their teenager. Thought the cruise might be something all ages would enjoy - will let you know when we get back!
