Are there chairs by Castaway Joe's

I was thinking my son's would love castaway Joe's fun area on CC.
Are there beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. to sit? For instance, is there an
area where I can sit and get sun and they can go between the beach and
Castaway Joe's?

Castaway Joe's.....is that the Grouper Pavilion where they have basketball, ping pong, etc. (I was not familiar with it being named Castaway Joe's...I have always heard it as Grouper Pavilion) but anyway...yes, there are chairs and umbrellas though not directly adjacent to the pavilion...you would need to drag a chair to the pavilion area. You could just set up camp by the water and keep an eye on the pavilion.

It is a hike from the ship but a nice area.

Thanks so much for the reply. I didn't think about
the long walk but that's no big deal. I'm hoping that
area won't be as crowded as well.

It was Castaway Jo's for a little while, and now it is back to being the Grouper Pavillion as far as I can tell. It is rarely crowded down there, and there is a restroom right nearby. It's a great place to set up "base camp."

Yes, but the family portion of the beach is shared with the teen beach. Also, the bottom was rocky where the other family beach it's all sandy (but maybe the hurricanes brought some sand there like I hear it did on the adult beach). We loved this area because it was so quite and my DS loved the games at Castaway Jo's!

Can you look for my digital camera...I left it hanging on the volleyball pole right by there back in August (sob! sob!).

Thanks so much for the replies. It sounds like a great place to park it. We'll try it out and let everyone know about the rocks and stuff.
Is it real close to the teens? I don't want to invade their space.
