What are the Fabulous Foods that you 'Disvets' dream about eating when you get to The World?

What's a Dole Whip?
Pineapple cake?

I don't want to miss any great food opportunities!

After going to LeCellier, I'd have to add the cheddar cheese soup to my list!

I'll agree! That cheddar Cheese soup is wonderful! We hit LeCellier every visit to WDW. A wonderful dessert there too I might add. Chocolate Moose. It is actually designed to be a moose and enough chocolate to cure any sweet tooth. Coral Reef also has a Chocolate wave that is delectable!

Gosh, I thought I had answered this, but maybe it didn't go through:

Here are my fabulous foods in no particular order:

Beignets at Sassagoula Food Factory at PO-FQ

Pineapple dipped in Caramel Sauce at 'Ohana at the Poly.

Pot roast, mashed potatos and s'mores at 50's Prime Time Cafe at MGM

The Mussels appetizer and the filet at Narcoosee's at GF

The steamed mussels and clams at Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club... not to mention that wonderful dessert bar!!!

The Mushroom and Cheese Risotto at Mama Melrose in MGM.

The Mushroom/mushroom pizza at Wolfgang Puck Express at DTD-Westside.

The baked chicken and the Balsalmic Chicken Salad at Tusker House at AK.

The Cheddar Cheese soup and pretzel bread at Le Cellier at Epcot.

The made to order omelettes and orange juice at 1900 Park Faire at GF.

Whew.... I am getting hungry, just thinking about it!
;)

Where is Cellier in Epcot?
Everyone seems to agree of this cheddar soup!

My favorites:

Beignets - POFQ food court.... YUM!!!!
Ice cream cookie sandwich - MS Bakeshop... you pick the cookies and the ice cream.... double YUM!!!!
Quesadillas - Rainforest Cafe
Onion strings (or straws  ) - 50's Prime Time
Puffed French Toast - Crystal Palace

Mom- Le Cellier is great, especially nice to kids, and they have a great kids menu (mom of 4 here) love that cheddar cheese soup, too! also good is wolfgang puck express butternut squash soup. that's a very kid friendly place with food everybody enjoys!
By the by, where are you in upstate NY? We're Albany/Troy area.

mom of five - Le Cellier is at the Canada pavillion at EPCOT. I am not personally in love with the soup but many swear by it so I'd say it's worth a try. We love a lot of the food but this last trip I had an absolutely awesome Oysters Rockefeller appetizer at Shula's Steak House at the Dolphin resort. And if you can get a hold of their Hollandaise sauce, you won't be sorry......I think it would even make beets taste good (and I hate beets) :D

I'm not a fan of the soup either. Order it only if you would normally order a bacony potato-like soup. Normally, I would always order a salad (love a good salad) but because of all the raves about the soup I ordered that instead. I was very disappointed. DH's salad was so much better IMHO. I wished afterward that I would have been true to my own preferences and ordered the kind of thing I normally like at a restaurant.
Another example of this is the grapefruit cake that is served at the Brown Derby. I was so let down by it. Had I been in touch with my own preferences I would never have ordered a white cake. I'm a chocolate fan! The only reason I ordered it was because of the raves I read about it. I would probably never like a slice of any white cake (unless maybe it was soaked in some kind of liquor.;) )
My thought is to take the suggestions on this board to heart but at the same time with a grain of salt. Order the kinds of foods that sound appealing to you. If the items suggested on this board appeal to you by all means order!

There are so many great things to try...

At Boma they had this avocado & citrus salad that was outstanding.

Turkey legs are a tasty lunch, and I really have a weakness for funnelcakes...

Tenderloin on Mac & Cheese at Jiko

The house salad at Citrico's

The chicken with Basmatti Rice at Cali Grill (no longer on the menu :( )

Cheese soup at Le Cellier

Creme Brulee at Concourse Steakhouse

Sorbet Trio at Citrico's

Apple Crisp (don't burn your mouth--it's hot!) at Donalds

The Fried Chicken at 50's PT

I'm sure I'll think of others :)

Hi

Here is a subject I can speak on with great knowledge. I love to eat and if you could see me you would understand.

I love the bernaise sauce at Yachtsman Steak House over the Fillet or Ribeye. The Ribeye is greasier. Makes your coat shiny

Maya Grill has a great desert called Churros. All fresh ingredients

Anything at Beaches and Cream... Fresh buns

Tuna at Flying Fish

Cheddar cheese soup and Salmon at Le Cellier

Fettucicini Al Fredo in Italy

Tonga Toast at Kona Cafe with a press pot of Kona Coffee

Smores at 50's Prime Time.

I love the restaurants in WDW. We make it one of the most important parts of Vacation.

Happy Eating

Hi there..

What is Celebration like? I have been looking at the website and it just looks so perfect.

Do you get a lot of rubbernecking tourists driving through to check things out?

Thanx
