Are there any cabins in a pet friendly motorhome loop?

Sorry if this has been asked before. For our trip in 2008, we are staying in a motorhome with our yorkie, but my brother and sister in law and 2 nieces want to stay in a cabin. Any ideas where we should request so we are close to eachother? thanks.

There are no loops for both campers and cabins. It's one or the other. The cabin loops are grouped together at one end of the Fort. I'm sure someone here can tell you the closest pet loop to the cabin loops!

ETA: here's a link to a map so you can get an idea of the layout. The cabin loops appear to start with 2100 and go up (by number) from there... http://www.allearsnet.com/acc/ftwmap.jpg

There are, or were, two cabins in the 100 loop. I was there in April, and drove all over FW, and can't for the life of me remember if they were still there. :confused3

As far as I know the 100 loop is the only loop with Cabins and RV sites. But not sure if it is a pet loop.:confused3

The 100 loop is not a pet loop. The two cabins that are there are reserved for "Disney dignitaries". They are not available to the public for rental.

Hi, regarding the issue of you in a motorhome staying close to your brother in a cabin, my understanding is that there are no loops with both cabins for guests and regular camp/motorhome sites. However, the best you can do is for you to request a site in loop 1100, and get your brother to request a cabin in loop 2100. This would be the shortest walk you could get between such regular vs. cabin loops. Also, if you really got lucky your site would be near the back of 1100 and their cabin would be on the north-east side of loop 2100, and you might be right next to each other (I stayed in a cabin in loop 2100 in the year 2005, and one morning I waved hello to someone staying right behind me in a motorhome in loop 1100).

P.S. I have no info on pet vs. non-pet loops.

WDW1979 is correct about the proximity of the 2100 and 1100 loops. But, the 1100 loop is not a pet loop.

Here is a photo that shows you how close the camp sites are to the cabins. This photo is taken from the 1100 loop, and those are 2100 loop cabins in the background. The swamp water is only there on special occasions (like after a prolonged heavy rain):

There are no other loops where cabins are adjacent to camp sites.

To the OP, I would not let any of this worry you. It is easy to get around the Fort, so even if you are not next to your camping buddies, it is easy enough to plan activities together, and visit each other.
