Are there alot of mosquitos in HH?

yes and you will be bit by a bug that you can not see. People call them "No See Ums" Someone on these boards has a web page about HHI and these bugs. Alot of folks like Skin So Soft from Avon. That seems to stop them. It does not work for me. I have trouble even if I use DEET spray. I am a blood donor to the insect world. Even though I can get bites all the time, I am not really miserable and I love HHI.

If you are prone to insect bites, bring spray. They don't bother me much, but DH is definitely a target! The resort does spray, but you're not always at the resort. ;)

And just in case a few of those nasties still manage to take a bite, I also found a product called "After Bite" at the Walgreens near the resort. DH swears it's better than Benedryl or any other anti-itch product he's ever tried!

We were there just over a week ago and commented on how there were no bugs. We spent quite a bit of time outside. It wasn't a problem for us.

The only time we wncountered insect bites was when we walked along the beach after sunset, otherwise we didn't seem to have a problem with them on Disney property at all.

I susspect, you may encounter some bugs if you venture out onto the pier after sunset though.

We just returned from HH on June 25. We had no problem with bugs while at the Resort. However, when we left and drove down the Georgia coast we were attacked. When we stopped at Fort King Goerge we were even offered masquito nets to wear over our heads if we decided to tour the fort. Also we went to the Sea Pines Forest Preserve near Harbor Town. As soon as we got out of the car and walked into the forest the bugs came. Of course we are from California where there are no bugs so our tolerance for them may not be as strong.
