Are there 2 Wolfgang Puck Expresses?

We went to WPE for dinner last year, and it seemed that the menu differed from what I found online - there were no pasta dishes. And the desserts were all clamshelled in a refrigerated case by the cash register. There was a table service WP attached to it. I'm not sure if this is considered the marketplace or the other part, but I just read that there is a WP in both areas. The one we were in was across from a model car store?

If so, are the menus different? Is one better than the other?

Thanks!
Deb

My husband and I just had this conversation last night with WDW Reservations. Apparently there's the Wolfgang Puck CAFE and the Wolfgang Puck RESTAURANT. The one that accepts the dining plan is the cafe and has a more limited menu. The restaurant offers it all...but again isn't on the dining plan. HTH!! :)

Yes, there are two. One of them is on the West Side, where you were, attached to the Wolfgang Puck full service restaurant. (Don't get me started with that, as there are two full service WP in that building. "Upstairs" is its own restaurant.)

The main Wolfgang Puck Express location is at the Marketplace. That location will have the wider variety of foods you expected.

When we first went to WGPE we made the mistake of going to the west side one first. When i read the menu i was surprised in the lack of dishes as you mentioned. Then we found the market place one and its fantasic. It is one of the best value CS places we have found.

I won't eat at the West Side WGP anymore. Why? A year or so ago, my friend and I ate at the Marketplace WGP Express. I love it there, and knew my friend would as well. So, I had my usual meal, she had a meatball pizza. I tried a piece and loved it. It was quite simply, incredible. So..that friend left WDW and I joined up with another friend. We were going to the movies that night, so figured we would eat at WGP Express in the West Side. She has also eaten at the Marketplace one and loved it as well. So, I ordered the meatball pizza...um, not even close to the same as 2 nights prior at the Marketplace Express. It was so 'not tasty' that I didn't eat more than 2 pieces. There were very few spots to sit...and it wasn't crowded. It was just a bad setup. The friend I was with felt the same way..her meal, that she normally gets over at the Marketplace one, was not so terrific.
Won't be back to that one any time soon.

Go to the one in the Marketplace. The one next to the Cafe seemed to have a limited menu our last 2 trips so we didn't bother with it. However we ate at the one in the Marketplace several times on both trips It had a great menu with lots of options and the food was really good too:thumbsup2

The Marketplace WPE is our favourite CS restaurant. We ate two lunches and a breakfast there last trip.

Thanks! Then I completely missed the Marketplace location. Can someone tell me where it is please?? I'd like to try it this year.

Thanks!
Deb

its at the back between the christmas shop and the place that sells all the cooking/food.

Its tucked away which is why we managed to miss it.

Same experience for us. Never again at the West Side location! LOVE the Marketplace WPE!
