Hi--my son loves the Universal Monsters (Frankenstein, Dracula, etc.). I was wondering if there are any attractions at Universal w/ the Monsters or if there are even any character monsters walking around? We're going next week!! Thank you.

Your best bet would be to visit or eat at the Monsters Cafe in Universal Studios. It is a restaurant themed with all the old-time monsters. If there are "monster characters", this would be the place to find them, I would think.

Frankenstein, Dracula, and the Wolfman are in Beetlejuice's Graveyard Revue. They aren't scary though. They sing and dance. You might want to check out the Horror Make-up Show. They show some neat footage from old films.

The other place you used to see them was at HHN along with the 80's stars like Freddy, Michael, Jason, Pinhead, and Leatherface. Sometimes for Mardi Gras they'll bring out Frankie and the Bride, but otherwise there's no casual appearences.

My DGS also loved the Universal monsters and enjoyed the Beetlejuice review. But he was even happier when we took him to USH and got to meet the monsters walking around the park. Another difference between the two parks, USH had a lot more characters walking around than USO>
