Are the smoothies still on the DDP?

We were in Disney back in August with the free dining. We were offered smoothies at all of our TS. And the smoothies were great and my kids loved them. This year we are going back in August and will be purchasing the DDP(see, Disney knew what they were doing, the free dining got us hook and now we are going to pay for it.) Anyway, I was wondering if the smoothies were still offered on the DDP?

We were there last week and on the DDP. I got a smoothie at the Coral Reef with no problem. I got the strawberry stinger and it was the best smoothie I've ever had!! Of course, you do know that smoothies are not refillable, so remember to get water too.

This has been discussed here before. I dont think the smoothies were ever intended to be a part of the DDP. It does however favor the server (size of tip) to allow them. If you are allowed to get them, consider it a little Disney magic. Shakes may be on some TS menus as desserts

Disney knew what they were doing, the free dining got us hook and now we are going to pay for it.

I hear ya. What a fantastic trip my wife and I had last August and it really was because of the dining plan.

Last week, our server at Prime Time Cafe allowed us to get specialty beverages, including a Root Beer float and a PB&J Shake, on the Dining Plan.

Got the Great White each time we've dined at CR with DDP this year. Also at Kona.

When I made my resort reservation upgrade, the CM was said, "I notice you're on the dining plan. A lot of peole don't know that smoothies are allowed as a drink on the dining plan." He was excited...must be a smoothe drinker!
