Are the holding from us the open reservation times?

I have been trying to get reservations for BOG in August and there is nothing. I go all the way to October and nothing. Are thy holding from us any open reservation times? Can it be possible that everything is booked? Doesn't make sense.

Well, BOG is new, reasonably priced, supposedly good food, well themed, etc.

We booked our ADR for August in early March and got the time we wanted right away.

It is a large restaurant but very much in demand.

I think Disney is holding the reservations to create a "buzz" for an average restaurant with above average theming...
From what I understand if you go to the podium and ask to be seated you can generally get in

August bookings have been open for a bit now. BOG is THE most wanted reservation in Disney right now. So, yes, it can be all booked and was most likely booked very early on.

Keep trying and hope is all the advice I have.

I currently have an ADR for two people for May 14th. My husband just found out he can come, so I have been calling every day trying to add him to our ADR, with no luck so far. Yesterday when I called, I told the CM I may just show up with him and see if they can add him, but if not, I'd just send him for a roasted pork shank at Gastons and me and my mom will eat there by ourselves, but regardless we are not giving up that reservation. The CM laughed and said I could try, but wouldn't hold my breath. She then said BoG was the number one requested restaurant at WDW right now and they are fully booked all the way through most of October. She said she gets multiple calls every single day from people begging her to find a way to get them in and she just can't do it. I've had them checking every day for any time during the ten nights we are there and nothing has been available for any time (either another table for one or two, or a table for three or four).

Yes, it does make sense. BOG is the most popular restaurant at Disney now. People make their reservations for it at 180 + 10 days and it is fully booked very quickly.
It is the way of popular restaurants at WDW. It used to be that way for CRT breakfast and then for Le Cellier dinner and 'OHana as well. You need to be making your ADR at 180 + 10.

At 6:20 a.m. on Monday, April 15 there were several openings for Oct. 19th. DON'T give up. Keep checking.

I did my online reservation for BOG at my 180 day mark so a date 5 days into my trip. I did it at 6am, and could only get a 4:30 ADR. Have been trying everyday since to find a later time, and there is nothing available. I think it is just that hard, both because it is new and fancy, but because it is the only place in MK that serves alcohol.

Yes, BOG is very popular.

When I was there in February, they were turning walkups away.

I also got my BOG ADR at my 180 days. I normally use online system but it was down that day so I called in. When the CM looked up BOG for the day I requested she was very surprised that they had a ADR and for the exact time I requested. She even said "WOW Im so happy there was a reservation open for you, you don't know how many ppl every day I have to tell Im sorry but there are no openings during your trip"

I may not keep the DDP if FD isn't out for the early fall but Im keeping this rare ADR for sure!

Don't give up and if some reason you cant get it before you leave Id go to the podium ASAP when you get there.. Good luck!

Be Our Guest is so popular at the moment that it books up almost immediately after 180 days and any cancellations get snapped up as soon as they go out. YOu have to be VERY lucky. But it is not impossible to get them.

I checked online this am for 180 days out (10/15/13) and there were NO available dinner spots. (I checked at 6:00 am EST & then again at 7:00 EST)

I thought maybe they would open a few more slots on the Official 180 day mark - but it appears that if you do not get the 180+10, then you may not get an ADR for BoG right now!

(I booked our Hotel at about 185 days out - so I did grab one BoG spot for a party of 4 - but there are 5 of us! Either DS18 will pass or we will show up and hope they can seat us all!)

I just found an ADR yesterday for August 21st dinner. I had been checking for weeks.....so they do open up from time to time, it appears.

I made reservations this morning at BOG...I always call...I never mess with the online system. I dont really even want to eat there but we are doing the MNSSHP that night so since it is new we made ressies for 430.
