Are the characters coming back to LTT?

I thought I read somewhere on the boards that the characters were coming back to dinner at LTT. Is it true? We did this as our first meal in WDW last trip and the kids loved it.

I haven't heard anything but if it's true, I'ld like to go. We've done LTT the last three years in a row but it's taken off our list this year because the characters are gone. It's OK food but not really worth it without the character experience. If they did bring our "friends" back, we would be eating there in September!

I read the same thing and thought I remember reading at first it was thought they would be back in April but then later it was thought it wouldn't be until at least September. I would like to know also as we are going in September and would like to know if the characters will be back by then???

There was a weak rumor from Jim Hill Media that said that characters were returning. I don't read his stuff, but recall hearing from a friend that he's since rescinded that tidbit that he shared.
