I believe you can book with an AP before you actually purchase the AP. Depending on your length of stay, resort type, etc. the savings on the room may more than offset the added costs of the AP. Only one person needs to buy the AP, unless you would maybe want to make a 2nd trip now that you have APs and all.

OK...this is the offer on APs that is confusing to me because I've gotten two opposite answers in the last 48 hours CM 1 said: no problem, once you get your AP number--which I will be doing day 1 at MK by presenting my AP voucher--just tell your front desk and they will apply the discount. Good. I'm excited.Today CM tells me (why do I call again...just checkingoh, I'm sorry, all those rooms for the Values have already been booked which is outrageous to me because the discount hit the WDW website today.We're veteran WDW'rs so I wont' be heartbroken over a non-discount christmas trip, but I AM going the route of the first CM and request the AP discount.
