Are table top portable gas grills allowed?

We are planning our first trip to the Fort for next June. We will be staying in the Cabins. We are not big fans of charcoal grills but would like to grill still. I know FW has rules about fires so I'm wondering if we would be okay bringing our portable tabletop gas grill? We will be renting a mini-van to drive down from Alabama so we should have the space for it but I don't want to bring it only to find out it's not allowed.

I know it's early but I love planning trips and since this will be our first pseudo-camping trip, I am already working on our packing list. We want to save money by utilizing the kitchen and cooking the majority of our meals so I'm trying to think of we need ahead of time.

Thanks! Also, if anyone has stayed in the cabin and realizes there was something they needed for meal preparation but didn't have, I'd love to hear about it. I already know there no cookie sheets nor salt and pepper...

I do believe you can use them, if my memory serves me correct I have seen them on tables at cabins. But I am sure we can find out for you before your trip! When in Alabama are you?

We are in Mobile! Thanks. I will definitely confirm this before we go since we are still almost a year away and rules do change. I'm just so excited as I haven't been to WDW since DH and I were engaged 16 years ago. I've always wanted to stay at Fort Wilderness and I'm hoping we will be able to do this. DD is always talking about wanting to go camping but DH is disabled and uses a walker (and a wheelchair when traveling) so cabin camping at the Fort is our best best option. For the days he's not up to going to the parks with us, DH will have more room than he would in a basic hotel room, not to mention access to food without having to get out in the heat and walk a long distance. I think the money we will save by preparing most of our meals ourselves will justify the higher price for the lodging.

Where are you in Alabama? It looks like there are quite a few of us on the here. I just joined last month so I'm still getting acquainted.

My grill can be table top or on the provided legs. I have never checked the rules about it, but I have never been approached while cooking with it either.
