Wow. My babies never had shoes on when they were babies (neither would keep socks or shoes on). We took them to Disney multiple times and no one ever said anything. Interesting.
Not at Disney but I took ds11 to Kings Island when he was 6 weeks old and they would not let him on the carousel because he didn't have shoes. Because of that he did have shoes when we went to Disney in November when he was 6 months old - it ended up being pretty cold so I was glad he had them.
I have a little one that will be 9 months when we go. He just started crawling but no walking. I haven't put shoes on him yet but was wondering if he will need them for the parks. Most of the time he will be held or in the stroller but I wanted to let me loose a few times in the play areas to burn some energy. Are there any rules about little ones wearing shoes if they aren't walking?
I have also seen the skidders at Target & Wal Mart. They are basically & sock with a rubber sole & could probably work as shoes for Disney & also protect his feet from the sun. Here is a link to the actual website http://skidders.com/crabsxy3502.aspx
I loved the knockoff Robeez for my kids when they were little I got most of them at target, But you can get them at Babies R Us, too. My youngest DD had the cutest pair of boots that sort of looked like pink Uggs. I think I paid about $10 for them.
