I'm trying to choose between going Sept 19-24 or Dec. 4-9 (for DD's bday). I'm wondering if I am too late to book ADR's for Sept. due to the free dining??

I have a problem with wanting to "do it all in one trip". Should we just go in Dec. this year then go in Sept. next year? I'm not doing Sept. just because of the free dining (I know it may not be offered next year), but just cuz it's a convenient time for us.

HELP! I feel like I'm gonna pull my hair out! :headache:

You will likely have trouble getting into places like Ohana's at this point, but you may be able to find an opening between now and then since people often cancel and rework their ADRs. I'd go online and look at what you can find. We are going early September and have reworked our ADRs several times in the last 2 months since making them and have found still quite a bit of availability even though its during free dining.

I just booked adr's today my dates are 9/17 to 9/26 the only thing I couldn't get was fantasmic package. They had ohana's for breakfest.

I booked mine last nite for sept 16-23 and I had to pass up a few things and do some rearranging... I would move quick or you may be left with things you dont want.... good luck

We are going from Sep 24~30 and I've reworked a few times on my adr. It might be hard to get F pk, Ohana and LeCellier lunch at this point, rest are still pretty much available if you are flexible with time. Also, people always cancel and finalize their adr closer to their vacation so even those hard to get adrs become available about a month ~2 weeks before vacation. If you check several times during the day, you might be able to grab those hard to get adrs. I did that Sep trip last year.

Go when you want to, whichever one appeals to you most. Free dining or not an ADR or two won't be what makes or breaks your trip :). If you're diligent you can get most ADR's you want. People do go book crazy at first (180 mark) then cancel as needed.
