Are Saturdays at MK still the worst? - July Trip

Hi All,

Well my OCD Disney planning is in full swing. Planning a trip for July - I know, hot & crowded, but I gotta go when I can go! I am now muddling through my latest dilemma.....I am now pondering what day MK??? We are party of 6 with girls, 10,8,4,2 - so the MK is a must. But once I eliminated any of the EMH days, I was left with Sat, Mon & Wed. For our schedule, Saturday would be best, but then my belief has always been SAT is the MOST crowded day of all.

So, what do you think....choice between a EMH day and a Saturday, what do you think would be most crowded
Are Saturdays worse than EMH days in terms of crowds. All opinions welcome....

I don't understand the EMH fear that a lot of people have. Especially, when it involves the park staying open later at night. The last 2 hour to hour and a half at MK has always had short lines for us. We've been to EMH at MK July, Oct last year and Jan this year. Of course, the crowds are larger but if you rest mid-day, I think you'll find a lot of people where out in the early portion of the EMH, besides that it'll be cooler as well the later you stay.

Saturday's are usually crowded I think regardless of the EMH....

I was just there on Saturday. We arrived around 11 and by early afternoon most waits were in the hour range.

But with fast-pass we were able to do a lot of things and left by 4.

Actually according to the Unofficial guide Saturdays are suppose to be one of the LEAST crowded days to visit the Magic Kingdom...which I have trouble believeing myself!

Your going in July, everyday will be crowded everywhere.

Usually locals go on the weekend but in the summer most probably stay away due to the larger crowds. I would say it would be busy on Saturday at the MK. I don't know how it would compare to the rest of the week since there are so many vacationers and tour groups in the area at that time.
