I have a 5:00 ADR at AK at a night that it is supposed to close at 5. Do you think this is right? Is there a chance that my ADR may not be right? I'm just wondering whether or not I should call Disney Dining & try to find somewhere else to eat that night. Thanks!

It is probably right. Most restaurants have seatings at park closing time.

If you got an ADR they are open. They won't kick you out of a restaurant just because the park has closed. In fact, they don't kick you out of the park either, the attractions just stop running.

1) Just remember the parking lot closes 2-hrs after park closing.
2) Afterward, you cannot enter or leave by car.
3) And, they don't make exceptions.

When restaurant do you have the ADR at? If it's a Rainforest Cafe is not actually in the park, it's the at the entrance and you can exit directly to the parking lot from one side of it. I'm not sure how it is now but they used to be open quite a bit later than the park since you could enter without being in the park.

I'm also not sure about the comment made about not being able to leave the parking lot later than 2 hours after park closing. That certainly didn't used to be the case, one time we picked up a car about 10:00 PM without a problem.

We'll be at Yak & Yeti. I assume that the busses will still be running since people will still be there, right?

Even though the parks close at set times, they really don't start getting strict on people leaving until 1-2 hours afterwards. You should have no problems with your ADR time. :thumbsup2

1) This was started about 14 months ago.
2) They can reduce staffing by closing the parkign lot.
3) They even announce this on the trams when riding in from the lot.
4) Too manypeople would park, then park-hop.
5) They could not control the manpower.
