Are my ADRs early enough for CP and DB?

I was reading through the dining threads the other day making sure I was set with my ADRs and then realized we have never entered the park early and had a character breakfast before the park opened. I began reading about this and it seemed like a cool opportunity and the feedback of the breakfasts seem positive.

We are only 2 months away from the trip and I was able to secure Crystal Palace for 8:20 and Donald's breakfast for 8:25 (on different days of course )

Is this a good time? Everyone seems to be trying for earlier or recommending earlier. What would happen if we show up early?

And one day we plan to use our free give a day ticket to go to the AK. Will someone be at the guest relations booth @ 8am so we can redeem our vouchers?

Thoughts? Feedback?

You probably won't be done eating when the parks opens, but you should be done pretty close to it.

You may be able to show up a bit early as we have done in the past. Maybe10-15 minutes, probably not 25-30, but who knows. Depending on the park and the CM they can be picky about what time you are let in depending on your ADR, we had this issue at Epcot with our Breakfast ADR. The CM told us we were too early and made us wait at the gate until what he considered an appropriate time. I was frustrated b/c I have bad knees and am a slow walker, but he did not care.

If the restaurant opens at 8am they won't fill all the tables at 8, they stagger the ADRS so everyone isn't showing up at the same time.
