Good morning all! Once again I'm digging myself out of the snow. Our predicted 1-3 inches turned into 10...... Again......

Sooo it's nearly time to leave for my flight and guess what happens? I get a call that the first leg is cancelled. What the HECK?!?!?!?! Due to maintenance...

Ugh the only flight we can take gets in at midnight. I am super ticked

Ughhhh my rebooked flight is delayed an hour! Connection will be like 25 mins and they are saying no problems. Ya like I have confidence in them

Wow, what a day! I'm glad you made it safe and sound if not very late.

That sounds like me at Target. The standing joke at our house is that it is impossible to go to Target and spend less than $100. Every time the kids are with me, they watch the register until it hits $100

OK....my vent for the day...

DD had to be at school really early to meet with her group to work on a project. After I dropped her off, I dropped DS off and realize that I'm still way too early to go to work. So I do something that I rarely do, visit Starbucks.

Now I don't go there much so when I do, it is a splurge. I bought me a nice foo-foo coffee drink and an Iced Lemon Pound Cake.

I get to work and pull my once-in-a-blue-moon treat out of the bag only to discover that the cute, young guy working at Starbucks has placed it icing down in the bag. Now I have a piece of plain pound cake and a brown paper bag with a whole lot of icing stuck to the bottom of it

I'm not desperate enough to lick icing out of the bottom of a brown paper bag but come on...if you are going to splurge, the icing is the best part

On the bright side, he probably saved me 50 of the 500 calories that were probably in the cake to start with

I go through the drive thru in the mornings and lately they've given me the wrong drink. So dissappointing when you finally notice and you're already a couple of miles down the road.
