I LOVE the pinata.


And excuse my lack of American culture.....but what is a cornhole board? I assume you throw something at it and hope it goes in the hole....but I'm hoping you can enlighten me.

It's a game. The bean bags get thrown and you hope they go in. You get points if they just land on top tho. Similar to like horse shoes or bocci ball. We also bought ladder ball which is another yard game. The balls need to wrap around the ladders like this:

Adult piñata! It is horrible looking bcz I made it. Inside is mini liquor bottles (plastic bottles) scratch off lotto tix, glow bracelets, mardu grad beads, can coozies, decks of cards, mints and more!!

Its not necessarily an American thing. I've never been to a party where a game like thus was played. In fact I'm not sure games were at any parties I've been to. Most of my friends are boring musicians. We just sit around and eat and drink.

A footy party is not complete unless there is beer and handball involved.

A kid's footy party is not complete unless there is beer for the ADULTS only and handball involved. And then we watch the dads hang around waiting for the kids to finish with the handball so they can then play.

Hahah yes apparently I was unwilling to go to bed and wanted everyone to stay awake with me so I started posting (coherently) when they wouldn't. LOL

The party was a success! Had tons of fun even tho a bunch of ppl RSVP'd yes and then crapped out by not coming. REALLY??? I still had a core group of awesome people and the pinata was great fun! Matt had made pitchers of Mai Tais and Blue Hawaiians beforehand and then after Matt was done with them I spiked them (more, hah) so people were in great spirits! LOL. We took the Blue Hawaiians out front with cups for the pinata time and passed them around. There were 2 kazoos and I told people after that whoever got them had to play a song but one person never copped up to having it. LOL
