Are Moo Moo's And Boo Boo's Doomed?...Part 5

One RSVP called me in the morning to tell me their family member was in the hospital so they weren't coming but the rest just never showed. grrrrrr

Ugh, I hate when people do that. I kind of expect people to just not RSVP at all, but to RSVP yes and then not show...grrrrr.

Hey Boo Boos!!!

How is everyone doing today? Nothing new to report here....same old boring stuff as usual :rotfl2:

Yeah I know. Plus some of the ppl who did come brought their own beer which we didn't expect. So we have a lot of crappy beer leftover! LOL

I am getting ready to leave work and turn in my apartment keys! :cool1:

Didn't want to turn them in too early since we are obligated to pay for utilities til the lease is up and I don't trust them not to go in and use them.

Glad to hear everything went well with the party! Can't wait to see pictures.

That's reaply weird about the utilities. How do they "obligate" you to keep them on? :confused3

You may have the lease, but you can take them out of your name.

It's written in the lease contract that way...

But keys are turned in and I got to talk to the one nice person in the office who signed that I had all keys even though I'd lost some. She said it was ridiculous to charge me $60 for them lol

Glad that you're done with the old place, Tiffany.

Jetskigirl - same old. same old.

So, what, they sue you if you turn off the power early? :confused3

Sounds like a waste of a bttle over $30.

A while back (March 2012??) I won 4 tickets to Universal. I have been holding on to them because I wanted to see holiday stuff (last Dec we went on a cruise so didn't have time). Well I (actually my awesome travel agent) just booked us a night at Universal!! I was watching for Dec 7th but there were no discounts (boo) and we are busy the next weekend so we are going Dec 21-22. We have free tickets and are staying onsite (royal pacific) so we get unlimited express pass!!! We have only been there once before (I won the superbowl ticket then bought Matt a 2-day Florida pass and we got to see Jaws before it closed. I am excited to see the new stuff (Harry Potter, Springfield) and to see the Holiday stuff!!!!!!!!!

That's cool! Harry Potter was really cool. We did Universal about four years ago and it only took us a day and a half, but I can't do some of those really over the top rides, gives me Vertigo. The Simpsons ride almost took me out! I could only go on the HP ride once, that was a killer too, but the shops and stuff were cool and the Butterbeer was really good, but very sweet.

Thanks!!

Omg I played every day and won right near the end!

We stayed there before!! It is gorgeous!

We've only been once in 2009 when HP was being built. Hulk killed us so we will skip him next time. We only did 2 days and it was plenty.

Excited for butter beer!!

OOOH!!! I'm envious. I've always wanted to do an Alaskan cruise.

My travel agent has been trying to get me on the group booking but we were planning on going to London next summer to see friends. Well, she is pregnant so I am postponing. Alaska is kind of $$$ but they have a good deal running now, at least

Ah I think I am booking an Alaskan cruise!

And on Brandi's fave - Celebrity!

Ohhhh, now we can talk Alaska planning together :thumbsup2
We are on DCL though.

OK Boo Boos....I'm here looking for sympathy :lmao: (just kidding).

I woke up Wednesday morning with pain in my shoulder again. I hoped it would go away but it has stuck around ever since (sometimes shoulder, sometimes mid-back, sometimes down my arm....same as before). So pretty much I got no relief from the first epidural and about 2 weeks for the second

I already had a follow-up with the orthopedic surgeon for Friday afternoon so it was good timing. We had a good long chat about things. My strength is still good but she doesn't like hearing that I'm missing out on doing things I want to do (we were talking about Disney and I told her that I have hated missing riding my favorite rides with my kids, etc).

So she thinks we should consider the surgery. There is no hurry or anything, but basically if I don't do it, nothing will ever change. Pain will come and go and I won't know what activities will start it hurting again.

I asked what the restrictions would be if I did the surgery and she said "none - you go back to your normal life." So it would be an overnight in the hospital and 2 weeks off of work. That's it (not bad).

She is going to verify my insurance and make sure they will cover it before I need to decide anything. But if they will cover it, I'm seriously considering having the surgery.

Wow...did I kill this thread or what??? :confused3 ;)

Hello.......

Where are all the Boo Boos?

Sorry - I missed this update!

I hope insurance covers it so then you can decide if this will work for you!! :goodvibes

When are you going to Alaska? I knew all along I wasn't going w/DCL. Just too much $ for the ports they charge, IMO. :)
