Ohhhh, now we can talk Alaska planning together

We are on
DCL though.
OK Boo Boos....I'm here looking for sympathy

(just kidding).
I woke up Wednesday morning with pain in my shoulder again. I hoped it would go away but it has stuck around ever since (sometimes shoulder, sometimes mid-back, sometimes down my arm....same as before). So pretty much I got no relief from the first epidural and about 2 weeks for the second
I already had a follow-up with the orthopedic surgeon for Friday afternoon so it was good timing. We had a good long chat about things. My strength is still good but she doesn't like hearing that I'm missing out on doing things I want to do (we were talking about Disney and I told her that I have hated missing riding my favorite rides with my kids, etc).
So she thinks we should consider the surgery. There is no hurry or anything, but basically if I don't do it, nothing will ever change. Pain will come and go and I won't know what activities will start it hurting again.
I asked what the restrictions would be if I did the surgery and she said "none - you go back to your normal life." So it would be an overnight in the hospital and 2 weeks off of work. That's it (not bad).
She is going to verify my insurance and make sure they will cover it before I need to decide anything. But if they will cover it, I'm seriously considering having the surgery.
