I called my dad today. His first chemo treatment went ok just made him gassy. Not too bad for a normal person but he has a bag so he had to burp it (ew)

I just talked to him and his blood sugars have been down around 200 all day, not good for a normal person but good for him and he will be discharged tomorrow!!!

Yes it is good enough to get out of the hospital but not his normal number, but they think with exercise and eating right and taking his meds that he will be back to normal...





Plus I am on my second martini, so who knows what I might say, must be time to log off the DIS and facebook, before I get in trouble.

I'm gald he's doing better. I'm usualky in the 150 range if not higher.

Chemo sometimes gets gross. Some people puke and all. Never went with my dad, but he talked about it.

It's a thousand, by October/November. October will be busy, so probably won't cut it until November.
