Are June hours final yet?

We leave in 33, so I feel your pain! Right now, however, we're only waiting to see if MK extends their evening hours, or if they schedule in the paid evening event instead. I think that all depends on how well the paid evening event does in the next few weeks.

For us, the lack of final hours for MK doesn't change our pre-arrival planning at all. Our ADRs and FPs won't change.

I think that's a possibility. Hopefully they will add something, but I doubt it will be as much as everyone was hoping.

The bad part is that attendance at the MK could actually be up. It might just be the other parks dragging down the overall figure. But MK hours could end up cut too.

As Alesia said, they aren't final until the day of. They can and do extend them at any time including the morning you head out to the park.

The best you can do is plan for what is on the books right now, and be happy if you get more hours later.

Agree. I doubt MK will close earlier in June than May.

We leave in 37 days and in the same boat. I keep hoping for some later hours. It won't change our plans but coming from the west coast it's easier to stay up later than get up early. Oh who am I kidding, we'll do both.

At this point I would act, and make plans, as though those are the final hours and just be happily surprised if they extend the hours later. I wouldn't expect or plan around an extension that may or may not come.

I never update my spreadsheet with the park hours until the week before I leave. They always seem to change something about 2 weeks out. Also, they sometimes extend hours the day of, so as someone above said, the hours are never final.

I would be happy with anything being updated or becoming available for any of these.
Dessert party for HS
MK hours updated to be open later
FP for the Frozen ride
FP for Jungle Book or dining package
Adding evening FP for Everest.
After hours at MK being extended into June.

So you would rather pay for the after hours event than just have MK open later, say 12am every night?

The irony in that is that we are really toying with the idea of going in August when my husband gets leave. However, we will only go if we can do mostly night touring and park closures at 10pm won't work for that. So that will actually keep us away.

I would honestly e-mail Disney and tell them that. The more people who tell them that they are changing their plans,or deciding not to come at all due to shorter than usual hours, the more likely they are to hear that and maybe actually listen.

This is weighing on us too. We are considering (already have it booked but can cancel) a trip in August. All of our previous trips have been in September with all the advantages that come with that.... lower crowds, free dining, lower overall cost, good weather... Anyhow, we can't do Sept anymore. The ONE THING that August had as an advantage was longer park hours. If that's not going to happen now because of these after hours events, it will make us look elsewhere too with a good chance of cancelling our stay.

I'm hoping that June hours are extended after the After Hours thing is done on May 19th. I am planning right now as if they won't be tho.
