Are July and August price drops coming?

I think historically, vacation package price drops occur late March or early April. . Is this accurate?

I have never booked a package but always flights and hotel seperately. Never seen a flight reduced this late. Good thing booking seperately is you can book hotels then cancel if you see a better deal.
Good luck though. Prices for flights crazy this year. Got economy direct on way out and indirect on way back for £750 on Virgin 7th August. Last year paid £800 direct both ways and PE on way back. More than I wanted to pay but was starting to worry. Haven't looked at prices since. Hope they come down for you.

You said vacation packages and you are posting on the offsite board, so I think the pper assumed you were talking about the bundle packages available through southwest vacations or the like.

Once we picked up a $10 crockpot on clearance at Walmart while we were in Orlando. I guess it was a display item because they didn't have a box for it. I used it the next day to make pulled chicken from boneless chicken thighs. I added a little water and a bottle of BBQ sauce. It cooked for almost 10 hours and it was AMAZING!!! The next day my son used it to cook 2 packs of hot dogs. He dropped them in the crockpot with a splash of water. They were done in about an hour. They tasted like they were cooked on a rotisserie!!! Unfortunately I left the crockpot there but it was worth the $10. I am going to look up some meal ideas too. I may buy another one while I am there. Maybe this time I will remember to bring it home.
