Are Goofy's Sky School & Grizzly River fast passes disconnected?

I'm working on a touring plan and it has me getting the Grizzly River FP at 9:05 and then the Goofy's FP at 10:28. And no - we won't be doing Grizzly River in between.

Is this even possible?

Yes it is possible, DCA rides early morning have short Return time, except for RSR.

They are not disconnected.

No, the fastpasses aren't disconnected. Is it possible? Yes, it is counting on Grizzly having a short fuse. What time are you planning on riding?

They are not disconnected and it is possible, no huge wait times early in the morning at DCA except RSR

Although you say you won't be doing Grizzly River in between, if you get a fast pass for it at 9:05, that FP will very likely kick in about 20 minutes later, if that, so for your hour FP window, you would likely have to do it within that time period.

No, not riding in between.

WOC Fastpass @ 9:03 (I know this one is disconnected)
Grizzly River Run Fastpass @ 9:05
Animation Academy @ 9:14
Five & Dime @ 9:54
Goofy's Sky School Fastpass @ 10:28
Grizzly River Run @ 10:35

I've optimized and evaluated over and over, but keep getting these in similar order.

It's because of the way return times work. They are expecting your Grizzly pass to be good probably from 10:20-11:20. That means you can get the Goofy pass any time after 10:20. In your example 10:28. Then you can go ride Grizzly at 10:35 because the pass is good until 11:20.

Thanks agamble! Worst case scenario, we skip Goofy's Sky School. I guess we'll just assume it will work!

This is why I don't use touring plans. There's no way I'm using prime morning ride time on a drawing class and a show. I'd save the Animation Academy for the hot afternoon and watch the Five & Dime during a snack/meal break.

I used to plan to ride ride ride all day and then take time for extra stuff in the afternoon... but now that we have more toddlers than adults I think the breaks will be good! (There are 17 grandkids and only four of them can ride all of the rides!)

Well, yes, touring plans DOES give you some weird configurations if you hit "optimize" - Splash Mountain after the sun goes down on a hot day, things like that. But you can move things around to do them in the order YOU want to do them in, and then hit "evaluate." Then it figures out your wait and walk times based on the way YOU want to do things.
