Are DVC Rooms Ever Ready Early?

We have a 5pm dinner reservation at Cape May Cafe (we are at OKW - arriving July 13th - landing at 8:45am) - what does everyone think about getting in our room in time to change for dinner and allowing time to get over to Cape May Cafe (FYI: we are taking a Minnie Van from OKW to BC). If worse comes to worse, we can go in what we are wearing down...we are spending the day at the pool (we all have backpacks with our clothing changes with us)

Our Saratoga room was ready at 9:30 this morning. That is the earliest we have ever gotten a room, but on the trip before this, we got the text that the room was ready before we boarded the airplane.
When we want a room early, we do not make any location requests so that they can give us the first room possible.

Good advice. I've had to wait over 90 minute to have bell services bring our bags to our room and that was in the afternoon. Coming back from a park at midnight you really don't want to wait up for your bags.

Yeah I am not overly concerned with room requests and don't know enough about AKL to make one. I'm just going to request early arrival and be done with it.

Just returned from a trip to Saratoga Springs and our Congress Park room was ready around 10:30 a.m. even with one building completely closed for renovations.

Quick update: Got here at about noon on check in day. Room ready text received at 2:30. We had just arrived at MK when we got it lol.

Got our bags at about 1am when we came back. No problems!

Also, I did make a TP request at the last minute and we got it.

We rented DVC points for a studio at BWV once, in October, so very busy time. Our room was not ready until after 5:30, the CM we dealt with put a $100 credit on our account for the lateness.

DVC villas are ready AFTER 4, not AT 4. You were very lucky you got that credit.

Wow, you got lucky. DVC Check In STARTS at 4PM. There really was no "lateness" involved in your situation.

It has been our experience that the room assignment text comes in as soon as I turn off airplane mode after landing. We always take the same flight and land early afternoon.
