Are diy campers allowed at fort wilderness?

We are thinking about building a camper out of a enclosed utility trailer. It will look like a camper but be pretty obvious that it is a diy. Does Disney have any rules on what they classify as a camper?

Not that I'm personally aware of (Edited for clarity..meant to say I didn't see a problem), though I'd think that, as is always in life, there would be limits. If I'm envisioning what you are planning correctly, you would have something finished off enough that it would pass as a camper regardless of its construction method. As long as it's safe to be around (no sharp metal edges etc), and is road legal to tow, I don't see why not. I've seen many a utility trailer in the loops, especially during the holidays, for that matter.

I have actually taken 2 "DIY" campers to the Fort. The first was a teardrop that I built. Spent a lot of time showing it to fellow campers and some of the Disney CM's at the Fort. I then converted a cargo trailer to a camper / toy hauler so that we could take our motorcycle and golf cart to Disney / Florida. Again, Disney had no issues with either DIY camper.

Site 1203. Nice site. Really long. We had 2 10 foot easy ups, the camper and my truck all lined up with room to spare.
I also want to give a shout out to my BIL and sister (Mike and Mindy) for the Mickey rope light. They were able to come over during our August trip to spend some time with us at the Fort. They also love camping and I believe are close to making that first trip to the Fort. I told them that once they go, get ready to be hooked.

I was going to say that I know someone on here built their own camper and brought it into the Fort. Glad he posted!

Seen several DIY campers there over years. Never heard of any being turned away.
