Are crocs really that comfortable?

I bought a pair of CROC's last year and wore them to Disney. They were nicer than the original CROC's and had a back to the shoe but they were so comfortable. We are going back this December and I'm buying a new pair to wear.

My wife only wears her Crocs shoes. They're not the traditional ones, but ones with a slight lift and arch support. I wore the traditional ones and didn't care for them. They were comfortable, but when my feet sweat, the top of the shoe kind of caught on the top of my foot and rubbed it some... It was more of an inconvenience, but if it would have persisted, I think there would have been a blister. Now I get some light-weight Nikes and make sure my feet can breath well... So ourhousehold is split. Both girls wear them with no problems...

Absolutely! Last trip I brought Mary Jane Crocs and New Balance sneakers (the 900 series, which are pretty cushy) and preferred the Crocs. Just make sure they're broken in. (In MJs, the biggest concern are the "buttons" on the side, which can cause blisters/irritation if they're not broken in). Crocs do become slippery when the treads on the bottom have worn down, so make sure that's not the case with any you might bring with you to WDW.

Also people will probably laugh at my family because my husband and my 2 sons are also going to be wearing them. We bought the kids some really cute ones though, Buzz Lightyear and a shark.

I was starting to miss all the croc threads that used to be so popular a few years ago! We've had bed bug threads recently, now some croc ones popping up again.. What else hasnt been around for a couple of years???

I have a pair of the Alice crocs and the button on the inside did bother me a little bit. Warm your Crocs (in the sun or lite heat in dryer) and stretch them out. Worked like a charm.

They were fine until in the parks. Probably because I was walking more in them than I usually did. took them off in the evening. I think if I had to wear them into the night I would of had bad blistering.

My husband wore them at the parks and he thought they were comfortable. He wears them all the time-sometimes with socks- and his friends give him a hard time and say he's wearing MY shoes! I'm sorry, but they are ugly...

I voted yes. But I must wear socks with them. I know, looks awful, but I wear the little short no-show kind. I also alternate footwear each day. Crocs one day, sneakers another, Teva mush flip flops another...

Crocs are the only shoes I would even consider wearing in the parks, yes the orginal styles Beach and Cayman. I actually have the Mickey head Crocs in several differnt colors to go with differnt outfits. They are extremely comfortable for a day in the parks and so easy to slip on and off when your sit down to wiggle your toes etc

I actually wear Crocs all the time now (not all Mickey ones) but have many pairs in several differnt colors (I like to be coordinated with my Crocs). In winter and cold weather I just wear the darker colored pairs (without holes in the toes) with dark socks and most people just think they are regular shoes.

I definitely voted YES on them for comfort in the parks

I swore I would never wear Crocs. I truly thought they were the ugliest things around.

However, a few weeks ago my Adidas slides gave up the ghost and I started shopping for new slides. I stumbled across the Crocs Patricia at a sporting goods store.

OMG. The most comfortable shoe I've ever worn (and I buy running shoes from a store than analyzes your foot, your gait, etc to select the right shoe for you).

I ended up buying two more pair in different colors. (Note, I did have to buy one size larger than I usually wear.)

Took all three to Disney last weekend and wore them the entire time.

Wow. Just amazing. Now that I know Crocs makes many different styles, I'm off to find ones I like for everyday wear in the winter in Vermont (if it didn't get so darn cold here, I'd continue to live in the Patricia's ).

I only wear my crocs to go outside at home. They are so wide and floppy. The back strap irritates my ankles. These are the standard style (Beach?). I tried the Mary Janes that were part canvas and they didn't work for me either.

My DDs and DH wear them at Disney with no problem, though. Airwalks, real Crocs, and Disney Crocs. Not me! Maybe another style would work but don't want to spend more money on them.

I did 14 straight days at the world in my mary janes. Bliss.
3 years ago when we went, they were just becoming popular, mostly girls wearing them, This year there were men everywhere wearing them. DH didn;t take his with him and he was gutted. He wears them a lot at home for camping, gardening etc, but hought he's look silly at WDW!!
At least he remembered to pack his Athens, so wore them to the water parks......where we noticed that all of the lifeguards were wearing them as part of their uniform. Must be good.

Not particularly attractive, but they are comfortable all day. I'd wear em to work if I could. I wear my LL Bean ones on the boat. They are butt ugly but no one is looking.

I work in a professional office and I bought the ones with the higher back and no holes in black and I wear them at work. They're a little funny looking with a suit, but make walking around work so much better.

I have more pairs than I can count, but I live near an outlet where I buy $5 and $10 ones - Mammoths in fuschia, Mickey crocs in black, red and pink, Caymans in green and navy, Athens, Mary Janes in pink camo, plus professionals in black, khaki and blue. DH has full shoe crocs for work in black and brown, plus Cayman in khaki and black Mickey Crocs.

DD has about 8 pair, too.

Needless to say, we love wearing ours in Disney World. I like to wear socks with them, but DH said they were great without socks in the summer.

I voted no. They are comfy, but not as 'dreamy' as people make them out to be.

I LOVE Crocs. I think a lot depends on your foot type. I'm a nurse and am on my feet much of my 12 hour shift.

I used to have Dansko clogs and I HATED them. They made my knees hurt. They are all support and NO cushion. I have a very high instep and don't need support, I need cushion. So Crocs worked great.

Last trip I got blisters (after I burned my feet ever so slightly on hot concrete) and then wore flip flops for 5 hours in Epcot. Never again.

BTW, I tried Crocs flip flops in the parks and they were rough on my feet 'cause there were no socks between the little nubs and my feet.

Please wear socks with your Crocs or your feet will sweat a LOT. My dd wore her crocs with no socks when she was 5 and 7. This year I told her she MUST wear socks 'cause her feet would just sweat all day in that FL sun in those things YUCK.... So wear socks, K?

Before Crocs came into our Disney Lives we had sore, tired, stinky feet. After Crocs we now have happy, comfy, colorful, don't worry when it rains feet.
Crocs weigh practically nothing so no worries....pack a bunch...your luggage weight won't go thru the roof! Woo Hoo

I love my Crocs! Haven't worn them at WDW yet but have walked miles in NYC and walked a picket line for 10 wks last summer and no blisters! Just a very interesting foot tan!

I didn't know there were Mickey Crocs for grown ups! So excited to get a pair when we go in December!
