do you have to take them to the cleaners? And are they all cotton, easy to iron? Thanks!

They are most definitely machine washable. I never ironed mine but I'm pretty sure they are easy to iron. You can also just drop them off at costuming and pick up new sets and then not have to ever wash them on your own. But if you have a hard time finding your size then I would definitely suggest keeping them and washing them yourself. I had to do this with pants because they never had many 28s.

When I worked my professional internship, I kept mine and washed them. We were a team of 20 interns and only got 5 shirts, shorts, and 1 vest. Since we had a small team, there weren't a ton of costumes and we lived in a townhouse with a washer/dryer included so I was able to wash them without paying any extra in laundry.

My College Program on the other hand, I worked at BBB and had a huge skirt, shirt, and vest and I turned those in every day. The fact that I would have to do laundry every few days instead of maybe once a week or once every 2 weeks and lug it down to the laundry building and pay...I chose extra $$ over spending it on laundry that WDW will do for you for free but we always had tons of sizes to choose from so it was never an issues. They were also dirty from all the hair products, gel, hair spray, etc. not to mention the possibility of bringing home lice didn't appeal to me either! I never had an issue changing before leaving at night since we had to use lockers anyways!

Just as a note, some pieces, particularly coats and whatnot, are Dry Clean Only, and have to be taken to Costuming to be cleaned. I suppose you could also take them to a dry cleaner, but that would really be a waste of money since Disney will do it free of charge.

Is it a hassle to take your clothing to Costuming? I'm sure it's something I'll find out once I'm there but I'm just a bit curious. :)

I think depending on where you work and if you have a car or not it can be hard. At MK, it was right in the parking lot of where the cast members park/where the CP bus will drop you off so it's super easy to get to before you take the bus into the tunnel for work. I've even had to go to costuming mid-shift a few times because at BBB, if you have a confirmed case of lice you have to strip your clothing down and put a new costume on so it wasn't too bad!

At AK though, it's not right on site, it's a mile or so away from the park. There is a bus that will take you there but it's easier if you have a car so that would take a little longer than at MK for example.

Epcot's is in the building that you walk through to head into the park for work..also the location where the CP bus will drop you off/where you would park.

DHS, I'm not sure but I think it's on DHS property too.

DTD..not sure??

DHS is super convenient! You walk right past it on your way into the park through the Cast Services building. There are other backstage ways into the park, but I would say for most CPs you would use that way as it's the closest to the Cast parking lot and the CP bus stop.

Thanks! That's what I thought! One of my CP roomies still works there seasonally and I know she always would grab a costume before heading into work!

Thanks so much guys!

And wow, I never even thought about lice cases while at BBB. What on earth do you do in that case?! My initial reaction would be to freak out and cause a huge scene, and I'm sure that's 100% not allowed at WDW, hehe. Does the girl get kicked out with a refund? Aaagh.
