Are connecting king & double rooms possible?

Does anyone know if this is a possibility or are all the kings in one area, all the doubles in another? Really hoping for a king/doublex2 value resort combo. We're taking my DD14's BFF in April (5 total) and was hoping this arrangement would work for privacy,comfort and convenience of having two bathrooms.

I would say absolutely YES. There are no king-king connecting rooms, but I do think there are a fair share of king-double, and they're probably spread all over the resort. That said, remember that all requests are just that- requests. Nothing is guaranteed. In addition, if you have other requests (a particular area of the resort or a certain floor), you should make sure to put requests in the order of importance. Doesn't assume that you can put the request in at check-in because most rooms are per-assigned several days out.

If you're worried about not having a guarentee since there is always a possibility a request cannot be met, I just wanted to suggest the all star music family suite. It has 1 bedroom with 2 queen beds and a pull out in "living" area that sleeps 2. There are 2 bathrooms and a kitchenette. Just wanted to throw out a suggestion

I stayed in King Double connecting rooms at Pop. As PP stated it is a request, not a guarantee.

Since there is no guarantee that you would get connecting rooms, would it work out for you to stay with the friend and your husband to stay with your daughter? That's what you may wind up with booking two rooms and hoping for connecting rooms. Because the two kids are underage, they would not be allowed in a room by themselves.
