Are clothes sold on board

So what was the final outcome? I need the details. I need my happily ever after.

Bag was delivered to hotel last night in time to enjoy a drink on the balcony watching Disney fireworks with family.

Nothing was missing and vacation was saved. I was minutes away from taking an Uber to the outlet mall/target to hit buy a half wardrobe and save receipts, so all good

So glad it worked out for you. Happy sailing.:boat:

You learn from your mistakes. My wife and I always take two bags one bag a piece. But we divide our clothes up evenly. The t shirts I bring half will be in one bag the other half the other bag. And so on and so on for each different clothing. You can’t do nothing about it now but I’m guessing you will do this from now on. Hopefully this will help out other people reading this.

I do the same thing, and if I'm traveling with someone I splint our stuff equally into bags. That way at least if we only get 1 bag we at least have a few outfits of clothing to wash and rewear. Not to mention every time I see someone mention how their suitcase was dropped into the water while it was being loaded onto a cruise ship.......

Was it on airline? Or someone took wrong suitcase?

I may not be a fan of LGA as an airport, but I do respect the heck out of them for having people who check the bag tags against the claim tickets as you're leaving the baggage claim area. Completely prevents someone walking off with your luggage.

I'm glad your bag was found. There was on time when DCL lost our bag and I was getting really nervous. I found it about 7pm on another deck just kind of hanging out all alone. I'm sure they would have given me a voucher for some clothes, but they don't sell underwear, bras.. you know the essential stuff.

Wait, are you saying that you think it's okay to call a woman you don't know "sweetie," but because he's a guy you'll (sort of) apologize?

Yeah, there were some clothes in the shops onboard but I wouldn't count on being able to get a full wardrobe (especially shorts or trousers) -- okay in the time I was typing this reply you replied again. Great news! Glad you'll have your bag!!
You read my post wrong. Inwas being sarcastic because As a guy he should ok with just swim Trunks for a week as women usually need a new outfit per day ( if you stereotype which I am doing to be sarcastic).

That was not made clear in your post, and also I'm not sure how it's meant to be better.

Sweetie Uber asap to nearest Walmart/Target to get what you NEED, and you will sleep much better tonight and enjoy the next 24 hrs. Just realized you are a guy. Sorry. You’ll be fine wearing trunks for a few days. Lol!
d
My husband would be just fine with a pair of trunks and a couple of shirts. I on the other hand need 10 outfits and at least 5 pair of shoes. Multiple workout clothes. I could go on and on about my over packing problem.

Some people call everyone "Sweetie". It's just part of the way they talk. It isn't meant to be anything derogatory or otherwise. I don't think it's anything to be offended by or upset about.

You guys can call me "sweetie" whenever you want.
Another thread gone off the rails. Is it a full moon or something.

I and many other women I know find it patronizing, and the internet is full of the accounts of women who are bothered by it. I would thank you not to tell me how to feel about it.

Good for you. I feel differently. Is there a problem with that? It's okay for me to have my own opinion that's different from yours, right?

I'm betting OP's luggage is black, like so many others (including mine.) I keep intending to mark it some way to make it stand out from the others, but haven't got that far. The thought of red or bright pink duct tape on the sides or curly ribbons on the handle just don't sound very classy. We do have unusual luggage tags, but they wear out or the luggage carousels eventually destroy them.

We tie bright colored yarn on the handles, both on the end and the side. It really helps us spot our luggage on the carousel.

A number of years ago, we invested in some colored luggage straps that wrap around our bags. These provide a strong visual indicator as our bags circulate on the luggage carousels, allowing us to differentiate our bags from all the other black suitcases out there.
