Are Cindy's PS's getting easier to obtain...

or did I just get *really* lucky today? Last year at this time, I couldn't even get off hold. Today, I got right in and got my choice of times! Today was our first day to call, so we got our "preferred" date, but I sure didn't expect it to be this easy!

Wonder if the other princess meals are helping, if tourism is really down, I really got lucky, or a combo of all three?

Hours have increased, tourism is probably uneven and Sunday is the best day to call

I think it's easy now because people just aren't traveling.

I was able to book the Illuminations Cruise for 2 nights for our July trip. I hope I'm able to get Cindy's for July 4.

I found a difference from last year to this year. Last year, it took two days to get through and a friend of mine 5 days of trying with both of us calling for her to get a ressie.

This upcoming trip, we have three families travelling together, so four of us got up at the ungodly hour of 3:55 am AZ time to make the call this past Wednesday. Two of us got ressies (which we then cancelled one of them) out of four callers on the first day.

I thought it was because of needing the CC and them charging immediately a certain amount of money. Anyway, we are glad that we can enjoy Cindy's another trip!

Well, I hate to disappoint, but I have 2 friends going the same week in June. They both tried yesterday and today to get their ressie - and neither of them got it. And both got right it but ended up on hold too long.

They have 2 more days to try, so they need a little pixie dust and maybe a prayer!!

Well, maybe we were just lucky, huh?

Best to your friends the next few days for getting their PS. Are they there on June 8th? We cancelled our one PS for a party of 12. Don't know if anyone else got them or not. Good luck!

This is great news. We so much wanted to do this for DD last summer but it was booked everytime we called. Maybe this summer we will be able to do it for her.

What are the new hours? I would prefer a late breakfast.

Hey, good news!!!! Both of my friends were able to get their Cindy's ressies today. One had two people calling and the other had only herself calling!!!!!!!

I'm so happy for them because for both of them it's their first time with kids.

I need to start calling on Wed, for my 60 day.
What's the best time to call again? I remember reading before to turn on the weather chan and go right at "5:58:30" or something like that.

I think these reservations ARE easier to get now for several reasons:

1. Disney extended the CRT hours, thus allowing more people in each day.

2. Disney added the princess breakfast in Epcot and the Cinderella dinner at the Grand, thus spreading out the "gotta see a princess" crowd. I suspect that many of the "regulars" are trying to book these new meals rather than CRT, which they're already done.

3. Travel is down.

I started the speed dialing at around 5:57 and got many many times "welcome to Disney Dining, our office is now closed". Then I got through and put on hold which seemed endless and I was sure I missed out, but got later morning seating for our party the first day. The hard part for me is there is a three hour time difference, so I was up at 3:45 am to do this!
