Are certain restaurants better for sharing?

I was just wondering because if we could share at one, then we could do a signature meal with our other credits. We're not big eaters. I have no idea how we're going to consume an app, entree, and dessert. We're usually full after the apps.

My 18yo DD and I shared credits at a few restaurants--Sci Fi in MGM, Alfredo di Roma in Epcot, and Spoodles. We also shared a lot of counter serve credits, which allowed us to try more places and eat smaller meals. Neither of us have real large appetites.

Steak places are good for sharing because you know from the menu how big the steak will be (the weight is listed).

You can also share at a signature restaurant.

Sharing the chicken dinner at Prime Time is a great way to use only one meal credit. Prime Time also has fabulous PB&J shakes. We love to split the chicken dinner and have had servers split the meal for us before even bringing it out to our table -- and then have the PB&J shakes with the meal. Yummmm-O! You could pay out of pocket for the additional shake.

I used to always share the fried chicken with one of my boys, now they want the meal (except the green beans. lol) all to themselves!

I have a question related to sharing--at a TS, can my husband and I use one TS credit to share one app, one meal, one dessert? I feel like a real cheapskate, but at the same time, there is often too much food for each of us alone and I'd rather not waste the food if I could split the meal and save a TS credit.

That's exactly what my 18yo DD and I did the several meals that I mentioned. And we were full those meals, too. We don't have real large appetites, though. We're vegetarian and I imagine that for meat eaters some of the meals are even more filling.

We told the waiter when we were first seated and they changed our ticket to reflect one diner so that we wouldn't be charged for two credits. We tipped extra, though (tipped cash for the second person).

We also did it for some counter serve meals and then were able to stretch the meals more and try more food, which is especially nice in World Showcase where there are so many good places to try.

DD-14 and I share meals all the time at WDW. We did it last year on the dining plan. There is just so much food and we both leave full. The servers have all been great about it and we leave an extra tip.

Last Oct, we went with my sister and shared 2 TS credits for the 3 of us. Again tons of food.
