...sharing a room with another solo traveler?

You can be honest with me....I'm not looking to room with anyone....I'm just curious.

When we first started talking about the convention a lot of people mentioned sharing rooms...but then someone put out a little warning (about rooming with strangers you meet on the internet, etc.) and the talk was hushed.

Have any of you decided to do it anyways???

Personally, I'm a very private person and wouldn't want to do this....but that's just me.

I'm going solo to the DIS convention and I agree with you, I prefer my privacy. I guess that might sound selfish not to help someone else out.

I would room with someone else, but I've been accused of snoring. I don't want to be beaten with a pillow!

so I pulled back on offering half the room to someone else. I bring lots of stuff and tend to spread it all out. It drives the boys nuts! So, I would feel bad if I drove someone else nuts, too.
(and, yes, I've been told I snore-loudly! I don't believe it, but they tell me I do!)
