Are any of these 1 TS likely to be upgraded to signature?

Just finished making our ADRs for our trip in 2012 and the following places barely missed the cut:

Boma (already eating at Jiko*)
Le Cellier lunch (got out-voted by the rest of my party for Coral Reef)
Tutto Italia (closed due to renovation)
Kona (already eating at 'Ohana*)
Grand Floridian Café (already eating at Citricos*)
*On this trip, we're trying avoid eating at the same resort twice so we can experience a variety of settings.

I'd like to hit some of these during a return trip I'm planning for 2013. In that regard, I'm hoping none get upgraded to signature by that time. I'm not too worried about Grand Floridian Café or Boma but can see reasons why Disney might try to upgrade one or more of the other three. Any rumors or speculation that LeCellier lunch, Kona (at least for dinner), or Tutto Italia will be upgraded to signature by 2013? Also, will Tutto Italia likely be on the DDP when it reopens?

The only one one that list that I would say that could get the signature upgrade is Tutto, and that's only because there are now two 1 TS restaurants in the pavilion, and Tutto is so massively overpriced as it is.

That being said, I don't think it's very likely that any of them see a change in their dining level any time soon.

The fact that Tutto is closed for an extended period--presumably for a renovation--might support that upgrade being a possibility.

I agree about Tutto. I know OP didn't ask about Ohana, but what are thoughts on that being upgraded for dinner? It's been popular for dinner as of late and has been hard to get late ADRs there. Seems like when that happened to Le Cellier, they upped dinner to 2 TS. Poly has Kona with 1 TS, and they are the only deluxe resort with no signature place not counting the luau which is a dinner show, and not counting SSR/OKW as they don't have any signature either.

Ohana would need a significant upgrade to go to signature. Right now the draw is with families that can have a nice family style meal, entertainment in the form of coconut races, and it's a nice value. Not to mention that it's the "hot" place to try so people want to try it.

Signature to me without characters would mean that the food quality would have to increase significantly. I personally don't see any of these going signature at this point.

I could see Tutto becoming a signature, since Italy does have two restaurants now, and Tutto has a more formal dining room, especially since it's closed for a rehan right now.
