Does anyone know if all of the THV have been declared? If not is there any idea when they might declare some more of them?I think I read somewhere that only 30 of the 60 have been?
I doubt that THV is booking faster than certain others (BWV specialtry, AKV concierge, BLT MK view, BCV 2 Q) but would expect it to always book faster than other categories at SSR UNLESS they do as they should, create other booking categories by location.
Does this basically mean that half of THV is DVC available and half is CRO?
How about the rest of SSR - has the rest been declared?
When I took my DVC tour in Aug they barely mentioned SSR having availibility. They were pushing AKV, BLT and VGC (maybe it because I mentioned the work "resale").
Undeclared units ready for occupancy belong to the developer. It is a common developer practice to rent those to the general public (via CRO and others) until they need to be added to the member inventory (declared). Proceeds belong to the developer.

Not surprising. At this time, SSR is considerably less expensive via resale and there are many contracts available. That's not so true of the others and the sales force wants to make a sale.
Actually, I suspect that DVC hasn't sold anywhere near 30 units worth of THV points. Disney did us a favor and "overdeclared" to make more units available to be booked via points.
As far as “reporting” Dis DVCers are concerned they are, I have watched and THVs are the category that shows up fastest and most often followed by AKL studio CL. I think this will change once all 60 are declared and the novelty wears off.
As others have noted, SSR sales have been quite slow for the past year. The chart below shows sales for the 15 SSR TreeHouse Units that were declared in January 2009. Each Unit contains 2 THV, and each Unit is worth 30,175 points, for a total of 452,625 points. As you can see for these specific Units, only 129,972 points have been sold through 11/03/2009, or 28.72 percent of the allotted points. Between 9/30/2009, and 11/03/2009, 10,153 points were sold for these Units, according to the Orange County Comptroller's website. At that rate, it will take DVD about 30 months to sell the remaining points in this Declaration (Note: DVD continues to sell points for other SSR Units, but the majority of deeds recorded for SSR have been in these 15 THV Units).
