Are ADRs only for sit-down restaurants?

I have made my ADR's for my table service restaurants. However, many of you seem to know what CS you are eating daily also. I just figured I'd eat wherever was nearby at the time. Is this something that I need to plan a little better? Thanks! :disrocks:

Yes ADR's are for Table service only. I plan CS, but if it does not work out we do not eat there. I always plan all of my TS, because it is diappointing to decide to you want to try something & they tell you they are not taking any walk up's. Especially if you want to eat at CRT, then you have to make PS for that. At some of the resort's it is easier I find to walk up, but Ohana is getting pretty busy these days. Maybe after your first day if you can plan alittle better where you want to eat, then call dining from your hotel. At least I would call in the morning from whatever park you are at. You can go to any phone & hit (oh I forgot what to hit, but someone here can probably remember) & make your PS then.

I think many of us plan our CS just because we are obsessed with planning. I think everyone has favorite CS places. They are all so different and I always like to know what is served at each one so I can try different places. You cannot make ADRs at CS, since it is like, say going to order at McDonald's. You just go to the counter, order and they give you your food on a tray. I think its just part of the fun to know where I'm going.
