Are ADRs connected to reservation re: canceling?

If I book a room-only ressie and then make my ADRs, then decide to split my stay and move to another resort for half my trip, will my current ressies get cancelled when I cancel some of my first resort?

Example: I am booked into the Poly for 7 nights. I make all my ADRs for those seven nights and then cancel 4 nights and rebook them at the Contemporary. Will my ADRs for those four nights have to be rebooked too?

I don't believe that your ADR's are connected to your resort. I believe they are all listed by phone #, so if you do switch resorts, then you should not have a problem...all your original ADR's should still be there.
I cancelled our trip for this year and had already made our ADR's. After I cancelled the actual package, I had to call Disney Dining and cancel all the ADR's.

Dining and resort reservations are not connected in any way. That's why there are two different phone numbers and two different systems. You will be fine.

Good question, I've wondered this too especially since they sometimes ask for your confirm number. I guess they just want that to check that you're within 180 days?
