Just wondering if anyone has an Archiver's store near them?

My mother (who is not a scrapbooker) went to the one at Mall of America and said it was absolutely fantastic!!!

I am going to the Wisconsin Dells next week, and I noticed that the Gurnee Mills mall is sort of on the way. Their store directory includes an Archiver's, and I just wanted a recommendation if it is worth checking out.

Thanks!

Happy Scrapping!

I have an Archivers close to me and it is a really nice store. They have loads of stuff! They almost always seem to have new products that aren't anywhere else yet. I would definitely recommend stopping in to check them out!

Definitely go. ::yes::
And take a wad of money with you. :teeth:

Depending on where in SC you are...there's one near Atlanta. Too far for me though!

Close as in an hour and a half away but so is the closest LSS... LOVE that place.... I am part of the Memory Savers club (paid $10 or so for the year) and save 15% with every purchase!

If you have the time to go, definitely do it! I have an Archivers near me, but I do go to Gurnee on occassion and last time I was there they had a HUGE clearance section in the back of the store. They had a ton of stuff on clearance for CHEAP!

Definitely worth it! If you're coming from Michigan, around Like Michigan, there's one in Orland Park, there's one at Gurnee Mills, and there's also one in Madison, WI. Check out their website for location info. It's my favorite store for scrapbooking!!

I also LOVE that place and I was in high heaven when I went into the store at Mall of America in November. It's larger than the Naperville store and I can go in there and spend hours just walking around!!!!!

bskts4bj - I'm in DeKalb. When I see someone close I usually pm them but I don't remember if I have pm'd you before or not (my mind has been so crammed with computer stuff). But I just wanted to say hello "neighbor". Just an fyi - there is a crop coming up at Northern on April 30. Info should come out in the next month and be at Memories Ink or I can email you when I get it. (Sorry to go a little off topic)

Thanks to everyone who has posted. I think I'm convinced to travel to the Gurnee Mills Mall to check out this store. That is, if the winter storm stays under control. I just heard 20 inches of snow in the next two days!!!!

I wish I was at WDW!!!

mla973 - I happened across the Archiver's Store at Mall of America and fell in love with it. I agree with some of the other posters that I could have spent hours in there! The girl who helped me said there was supposed to be a store opening in Michigan.. I have emailed them to inquire and they responded and basically said that was news to them.. So, I can only hope!

Make sure and report back because I'm not far from there (well, 1 1/2 hours but that's not far for scrapbooking) and if it's huge, I think I hear a road trip sometime this summer!!!! :) :banana: :banana:
