We are going to Universal Studios in June and getting the DC premium pass to include Busch gardens, Seaworld and Aquatica. (any caa/aaa discounts??)
When I was looking at the Aquatica web site I noticed you can rent cabanas and chairs. Wow this is new!!!!(in the old days first come first serve..ha ha)

So is it worth the 129.00??(cabana) and where should we rent it ie. by the wave pools or the island. This is so new to me, any help would be much appreciated. Can you still get chairs if you go early?? What is Aquatica like? We are huge Disney fans of Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon. Are they similar??

Thanks,

We went to Aquatica last year and since we were only going to be there a short time we did not rent one. We did go up and look at the ones by the wave pool and they were AWESOME. If we were going to stay all day I would have rented one in a heart beat since we had DD who was 7mo with us on the trip.

This year we are going over to Discovery Cove and I booked a package that includes a cabana there. Again, with having little ones I think being able to head to some shade with a fan will be great :)

Thanks for your insight. Since we are going to be there most of the
day its probably a good idea. I'm glad you like the ones by the pool.
That is my first choice!!!

We bought Sea World tickets, get Aquatica free from CAA. We are going in July and I have already reserved a "pool view" cabana. We do plan on staying there all day. I have two girls ages 9 and 7 and think that it will be a great thing to have to help us get through the day. I saw that there are plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas for free there, if you get there early enough. But having the cabana will get us away from the huge crowds, sun and perhaps (but hopefully not) any sudden rain showers. I am really looking forward to it. I haven't read a single poor review of these, so you can't go wrong.

Dear shoppgirl,

Thanks for your note. I think that's very good advice. I am going to CAA
tomorrow to check their Discovery Cove prices and add on the other theme parks (Busch gardens, aquatica etc.) I will also rent a cabana near the pool as well!!!!

Have a great time in July!
