Aquadunk vs Aquaduck

Ok - I think they are both 'meh.'

The AquaDuck compares nothing to Crush n' Gusher. I ride it once or twice a cruise but will not stand in a line over 10 min for it. DD6.5 enjoys it.

The AquaDunk was fast, but I'm not into a face full of water. I waited behind maybe 4 people.

I'll tell ya which one was fun - the Twist n' Spout on the Magic :)

Are adults allowed on that? It does look fun.

Because? Is that standard now? I think I saw it was for people up to 64". I'm 66" tall.

I'll check with someone just off the Magic - in Oct., everyone could ride - no height or age restriction.

When we were on in Nov. they were taking the max height off of the area you are measured against, can only assume that means adults will be good to go:)

Hi!
My DS LOVED the slide - much more than the Aquadunk - see above and injury!

My DH & I both saw Dads going down the slide with their kids (standing in line then going down solo) so while I didn't physically see the height sign, these men were taller than the previous mentioned height requirement so it's safe to say - no height maximum still.

Hope this helps
Heather

Odds are $19.95 each unfortunately, if available at all, unless you purchase a package.

The AD (Fantasy) photos rarely work. And if they do you must hunt them. They could be on the computer kiosks in Shutters, in the folders, or on the wall, on display for all. Hunt IMO. Good luck hunting to all. Ours were on the computer kiosks in shutters on the Fantasy fwiw. You had to tell the computer/kiosk to print them, in our experience. I suppose if you were ordering all the prints, or the disc, it may have been more seamless. ? ? ?

Ask IMO. Ask the AD operator. Ask Shutters, ask everyone if your interested. IMO.

They said these photos taken during the AD ride operated on facial recognition. They did say few females made the correct KTTW/ file. Males had a better chance. It makes sense, as they continued the explanation. The middle age men have less hair and when wet didn't look much different from their boarding pic. However, the females, generally when wet, look completely different from their boarding pic. Therefore the software struggles. Makes sense to me fwiw. Worked for me, and not my wife last year. So .....

Hope that helps some find their AD pics.

I wish they would just swipe your card as you are released down the slide.
Sounds simple, but .....

:goodvibes

We were just on the fantasy and the Aquaduck pictures of my DS and I showed up both times we rode. DH (who is bald) rode about 10 times and his picture never showed up. So much for the hair theory. ;)

That sounds like the Aquadunk. The pp mentioned the Aquaduck was similar to a ride at TL. I was wondering which ride the duck was modeled after.

Crush n' Gusher, but Crush n' Gusher is FUN (obviously they aren't limited to putting a ride on a ship at TL).

The AquaDunk is an off the shelf waterslide (see Carnival's Green Thunder).
