Hi,
For those of you who have been on the Aqua Duck, I have some questions.

1. Are you allowed to wear rashguards or do you have to wear a swimsuit?

2. Are watershoes allowed or do you have to be barefoot?

Thanks

Yes rash gards allowed as well as water shoes (you will need them on your feet on really hot days cause the pool decks are hot hot hot hot
(Rash guard is just a swim material shirt to protect from the sun)

What are rash guards please?

I was wondering the same thing?? And I have never ridden but I think I read you had to be barefoot but you could hold your shoes - could be wrong about that! I can let you know for sure in 20 days!!!:cool1:

DH and I both wore water shoes on the Fantasy Aqua Duck without any problem. I think the problem is when people want to wear flip flops that will fall off in the water. Our "shoes" had heel straps that held them onto our feet.

I also wore compression shorts instead of a swim suit, and DH and I both wore t-shirts. No problem.

We were allowed to wear our Keen sandals (they are very secure on our feet, unlike flip flops). Also, we were so excited the first time we went down that we forgot to take off some of our clothes. I was wearing a sundress over my swim suit and my boys were all wearing regular tshirts. Nobody even looked at us funny. LOL

Swim shirts typically made from the same materials as regular swim suits. They come in short sleeves and long sleeves and often offers spf protection.

Rash guards were allowed when we went on it.

Water shoes were also allowed as that's what we wore. I saw some people with Crocs too and they were just asked to sit on the Crocs so they didn't lose them. I'm told the shoes thing are variables and depends on the CM working at the time.

Is there a weight limit for the Aqua Duck:blush:

No weight limit posted, and I saw some "extra lovin'" size folks ride double rider on it. :)

From what I have heard from various people, there is no weight limit and the only thing keeping people from riding is if they cannot sit down on the raft. It's down on the ground and some people cannot sit on the ground, at the end of the ride, the raft is a little higher off the ground making it slightly easier to get up, but it is not graceful by any means. pirate:

When I went on I was about 275 if that helps. No problems. Had a BLAST!
While I won't disclose the actual number, I weighed more than this and had no issues. On our last cruise there were actually two days where they had a minimum weight requirement posted, but I have never seem or heard of anyone turned away because of weight.

My son wore both on our recent sailing on the Fantasy with no issue.
