What are the lines like for the Aquaduck (on the Dream)? And what time of day is the best to do it with short lines?

My wife and I waited until a port day that we didn't have any excursions scheduled. We waited until mid morning and there was maybe a 5 minute wait. We rode it a couple of times and went back to the adult area hot tub. It is fun so don't miss it even if you have to wait a bit longer.

Castaway Cay day, when they first open. Many people have already headed out for the island. We rode it a couple of times in a row (only delay was the long climb back up the stairs), but we could have ridden it a whole lot more with no one waiting.

On the four night cruise we rode it the first day right after the early seating dinner. We rode it three times in a row with no lines at all.

Board early and wear your swimsuit underneath your clothes. We rode it multiple times in a row before the rooms were officially available, then headed in to change once the announcement was made.

My son and I rode it about 3-4 times without delay on the last night of the cruise. I don't recall the time they shut it down, but it was earlier than the other nights. I'm guessing everybody else was packing and getting ready for their trip to end. We pushed it to the limits and were the last ones to ride the Aquaduck on our cruise. LOL

1st day- board early
In the evenings during early dinner (It closes early Pirate Night 8pm or maybe 8:30pm)
At night- it stays open till 10 or 11pm (depending on the day)
1st thing in the morning - Get up early and ride a few times before breakfast it opens a 9am or 10am (depending on the day)
Port Days.

Here is a link to past Navaigator's (Newsletter). It list the times and events on the ship. You can see the times listed that the Aquaduck is open. It's not alwyas the same but it will give you a good idea.

After castaway cay when everyone is getting ready for dinner or too tired. Pools are pretty empty also.
Port days.
I also did it during the sailaway party

My DD and I would go to the show in the theater after the early seating then quickly change into bathing suits and ride the Aqua Duck each night. Couldn't see as much at night but it was still tons of fun!

My son and I always do it after dinner, (early seating) and lines are short and sometimes non-existent. One night we got to 15 times straight and I had to stop because I worked up a hunger and needed Mickey pretzel. He kept going and I sat in a lounge chair and watched a movie and continued to eat. I love the oatmeal raisin cookies up there.

Last cruise (actually all) we had early diner assignment. You can do Aqua dock after diner with no wait at all, say 7:00 - 7:30ish

We came back from Castaway Cay about 2 pm on our Dream cruise and I rode 2x with very little wait, mostly only about 5 rides went by the time I made it to the top of the stairs. I probably could have gone a few more times with little wait, but it would have been too much for me that day.

Thank you all for your input! What would you say is the peak wait time? Thirty minutes? An hour?

Can't speak for the Dream, just the Fantasy, but I assume it would be the same - we came back to the ship just after lunch on our port day in St. Maarten, and my daughter (now much older than the picture in my avatar) rode it 10+ times consecutively, with no more than a 5 minute wait between rides.

Go before or after dinner during the shows. It's very slow then.
