AP's: Ok,tell me if I got it right...

I can make my reservations for a standard room @AKL which will be at rack rates .I just wait until I'm actually checking in,show them my AP voucher and THEN the AP rate is applied? Are there a certain number of rooms set aside for this rate or as long as I have the AP,I get the discount rate applied to any room I have reserved? So,I don't need to call AKL to tell them I'm applying the AP discount to my reservation?

No! When/if AP rates do come out you MUST call and see if there are any for your resort and dates. Then your rate can be changed! They do sell out too, so call as soon as they are released!

As stated above, you must call CRO/WDTC to switch over to the AP rate. You cannot get it changed when standing at the resort front desk checking in.

Well I guess I have a long wait to see if there are any AP discounts for my trip next summer! Tell me,if you can, are there usually AP discounts for June and July? It sounds like I could make reservations at rack rate and end up paying that!!
