aP'S diSNEY DINING CARD...How long does it take to get?

Is the dining card worth it? Can you just use it for dessert? How long till it comes? What # to call?

I think mine arrived in about 3 weeks from when I ordered it.

You can use it for whatever you want as long as it's at a restaurant in the plan (most of the table service restaurants at the parks, resorts, and DTD, as well as many of the counter services at Animal Kingdom). It cost $65 for a year. If you plan to spend >$300 in purchases at the restaurants that are covered in one year then you will save money (because it's a 20% discount).

I just got back from a 6-day trip for 2 people and saved >$100 on my meals, but then take away the $65 I paid for the card and I netted ~$40 in savings. However I have more trips planned before the card expires.

Mine took a shade under 4 weeks to arrive--but that was last October, and I understand it's a bit quicker now.

I ordered my DDE card on 3/14 and I recieved it in the mail TODAY! So....mine took less than 3 weeks to arrive. The card carrier also has all the participating restaurants printed on the back so I am going to bring that along with all my other important paperwork to the world for reference.

If the card does not arrive in time for your trip, you can pick up a temporary card at EPCOT guest services,

If you are using a car to get from location to location, (resorts) the DDE also includes complimentary valet parking, which is a nice perk that I take advantage of - of course I still tip the attendant, so it's not "free".
