Apparently our APs are burning a hole in our pockets! After having a friendly debate with DH, DD13, and DS8 about our resort accommodations for our annual Christmas trip, DH had a brilliant idea. Our son has his heart set on staying in a pirate room at Caribbean Beach during part of our Christmas stay. However, after spending a night there over Spring Break, the rest of the family doesn't think it will be Christmassy (is that even a word..ha!) enough, and we want a smaller resort for the holidays.
Fast forward to this weekend when DH decided to book a long weekend trip to Disney for DS's 9th birthday in July. It'll be a quick one...flying in early Friday morning and flying back out Monday afternoon. However, we'll stay in a pirate room and let DS call the shots for his weekend.
Killing two birds with one stone...DS gets a pirate room in the summer and the rest of us get French Quarter for the first week of our Christmas trip. Now to keep everything a secret until the night before our flight...ssshhhh!
