Does anybody see an issue with having an April Use YR for someone who typically always vacations in April/May?

Does this mean I would get new points every April 1, or is it some other day in April?

What if I wanted to vacation in February or March (i.e. '05 Easter is in March this year)? Would this still work out just fine because I am borrowing my points by only a couple months?

I need some experienced users to respond!

Yes, you get your points on the first day of the UY month.

An April UY for April/May vacations is great. Basically, even if you cancel that vacation, you would have almost a full year to re-book the points.

On the other hand, an April UY for March vacationing is the riskiest. If you have to cancel that vacation within the last 30 days, you would have only about a month to re-book and use those points.

So I could borrow from the upcoming year for February/March vacations correct; assuming my current year points were all exhausted? In fact you could borrow one year in advance, right?

Correct. Your April 2005 points would be good for stays April 1, 2005 to March 31, 2006. You could borrow April 2006 points for a March 2006 trip if all your 2005 points were gone.
