Up until this year, the earliest flight I have taken was also around 7:00 - 7:30 AM. Last month we flew to Virgina for my cousin's wedding and our flight left the airport in Boston (we usually fly out of Providence) at 6:00 AM . We had to wake up at about 3:15 AM for that trip, so this time it will (hopefully) be a little easier!

At least when you go that early you know the plane won't be late inbound, security should be a little better and you get to Disney in time for lunch!

ok so i have another itinerary update... I must admit that although i was drawn to Big River Grille and Brewing Works for obvious reasonsdrinking1 ), it was probably not the best choice for our trip. You see I have accumulated a crazy amount of disney reward dollars since our last trip 2 years ago and wanted to use these points to pay for this dinner because it is Out of pocket. However, after doing some after-the-fact research i discovered there may be a chance i will not be able to use these points at BRG because it is a non-disney restaurant. I also had a certain someone whispering in my ear every 5 seconds telling me she would rather go somewhere else, but that's neither here nor there.

I decided...(elbow from christine to the midsection)... WE decided to change our reservation yet again for our first night to Grand Floridian Cafe. So now we have a 6:10 ressie for May 20th and DF can finally rest easy knowing she got what she wanted and I will be able to use my DRD to pay for it.

Lots accomplished today:

1)Purchased batteries for our little friend; Pal Mickey.( it appears someone in my house thought it would be perfectly acceptable to remove one of Pal's batteries most likely for a video game controller)

2) Changed ressie for first day

3) Purchased new memory card for digital camera. I previously had a 256, which held about 100 pics. This would surely not be enough for the amount of food porn that we will be subjecting you all to in the coming weeks. So I bought a 2 g card on sale for half price ! I am sucha bargain shopper.

4) Busted out my new kicks for dis, very important to have comfy shoes... sorry no crocks for me.

5) checked the 14 day weather report for orlando.
Side note: is it sad I'm already checking the 14 day weather reports for Orlando???

This is unacceptable! ( And its one of my pet peeves - the worst part is that whoever took the batteries didn't even take them all - they only took 1 out of 3 )

Just a quick update on life. I just found out today that I have been given a long term sub position at one of the HS that I work at. This is great news for me AND they are OK with the fact that I will be gone for 7 full school days!

Your trip is getting so close, it will be here before you know it. I think early flights are better than late ones, then if you have any issues you will just get delayed until later in the day and not end up sleeping at the airport. (Which just happened to us)
I think it is fine to start packing now, especially when it is stuff you aren't using now.
I can't wait to hear about your trip when you get back.

Have a fantastic trip!! My first trip to the world was also in 1997...a 7th grade field trip! Must say the absolute best field trip I've ever been on! While I did enjoy seeing the puffy birthday cake castle, I thought it was an odd way to see it for the first time. Still fun, though!
Also super jealous that you get to leave on DH and I's first wedding anniversary, but we'll be going soon enough. You guys are beyond cute. Have a great time with your families!

I agree - The early flights, in the end, are much better ( I will probably not be thinking this on Tuesday May 20 at 4:30 AM however ). Sleeping in the airport does not sound like fun - I think I need to catch up on your TR!
