Well we want to book our 2017 vacation so much but this whole trying for a second baby is making it very difficult! I want to go the week after thanksgiving but it looks like a spring vacation might be better.

so because i have never gone in spring can you give me some insight on the crowd levels? that is really the only factor i really care about (cost too but we always stay in the value resort)

we are think end of april/beginning of may.

Easter is April 16. I wouldn't start a vacation for at least a week after that (April 23). Give the Easter crowds and post-Easter crowds a chance to finish up.

Most of April schools are on break and then there's Easter. Crowds will be BUSY. Very end of April/May will be better.

Where I live, schools begin starting their summers around the beginning of May. That is especially at the college level. if you want the lesser crowds, I would recommend the end of April. However, schools get out periodically in May, so May should still be fine until towards the end.

Starting in May you get a lot of the local middle and high schools doing class trips, especially to Epcot. So there will be lots of kids in matching shirts. Most of them appear well chaperoned though.

Last week of April and first week of May look like the best weeks for spring next year (2017). That's when we're planning to go. It's after Easter and Spring Break but before Memorial Day.

This year, we went during the first two weeks of May. Weather was near perfect and crowds were low (relatively speaking).

Typically, the week after Easter Sunday is still crowd level 9's, just like the week before Easter Sunday.

The after spring break/Easter and before Memorial Day is my favorite time to visit. It can be very hot, but crowds are more manageable.

Oh boy, we're in trouble then! Coming to FL for a family wedding and planned on 5 days in Disney after wedding, but maybe not a great idea. We've never gone with crowds higher than a 6, so might be too much for us!

I was just there last week. There were plenty of families that still had their kids there. There is no time of the year now that you won't see crowds. All of the major attractions will have hour+ waits. Even during the school week, there were plenty attractions with pretty long waits. I also went during Food and Wine Festival. EPCOT wasn't as crowded during the week as it was on the weekend. If you were to go around Easter time, I think you would hit the Flower and Garden Festival which is my favorite time to go to EPCOT. I would still plan to go when you are there.
