ok so I have posted in the past about my sister's upcoming wedding..well she has it planned as a cruise..well after much discussion over on the cruise forum I'm thinking she might not be able to have what she wants due to the sheer number of ppl she's planning on having go..

So she has said she wants to get married in April or May of 2012..I do know for a fact that my older sister and her family as well as myself and my family plan to go to WDW after her wedding cruise or whatever she ends up doing..

So I have a couple of questions:

1. When would prices be available for those months?

2. Would we be best trying to get a large suite for all of us or separate rooms? My sisters family is 4 unless she brings a guy then 5 and my family is 3 but 4 if i have a guy...

3. Is free dining generally offered during this time?

4. My older sister and I haven't been down to WDW since we were little so how many days would be a good amount? the kids, other than my DD8, have never been there..we will have kids ages:13, two 9 yrs old, 8 and 3.5 at the time we go

5. How cheap could a family of say 4 go to WDW for? We'd have to fly to save time

I want to start planning this now, so I know we have enough money..I'd like to stay on site since I have never done that before...My younger sister's new husband MIGHT be able to get SOME of us free tickets but I don't want to count on that happening so I want to make sure I include that cost..if you have any other tips please let me know..we don't have an exact date yet, my younger sis hasn't picked her wedding date yet and won't probably until April..thanks!

Early to mid august of 2011.

A suite of rooms will be more than combined cost of individual rooms. Less expensive to get the individual rooms or stay offsite in a vacation home.
3. Is free dining generally offered during this time?
No. It looks like the offer will be kids stay and play free for this year. Last year was a similar offer.

Including the wedding day? At least 7 if not more for people who have never been to disney before.

Depends on alot of factors including ages and how long you will stay. Where would you be flying from? Do you need a rental car? What about dining preference? Tickets (hopping? waterparks? etc)

Best advice is to go to the disney website and put in your information using dates from 2011. That way you will have a ballpark figure of what it could cost. Even if prices go up a little for 2012 you will at least know whether your talking about a grand floridian concierge stay or pop century standard location rooms. Congrats to your sister on the upcoming wedding!

Oh WOW, that late? I was hoping sometime this summer..oh well at least I'll have the money saved so I can pay it off right away

Ok so I think each family would be responsible for their own rooms.

Explain this promo to me, it is just as it sounds? I have 2 kids but I'd be the only adult in the room so how would that work?

We live in the waterpark capital of the world lol so we have no interest in the waterparks..Would probably just go with standard tickets, not interested in park hopping, a park a day i think would be good

If I look at this year's costs wouldn't it be higher anyways since it's closer to the "stay"? but still ballpark is all i really need at this point..

Thanks for all the help!
