Hi,

Would love to connect with fellow Canadians who are flying to Aulani end of April/early May. We are a bit stressed about testing the day before flying out and getting a positive result. We are being so careful but still anxious. Where is everyone planning to get tested? Are you doing more than one test? We are flying Toronto to Vancouver and then Vancouver to Honolulu.....

I am not headed to Hawaii but I have been driving back and forth to Massachusetts as my daughter is going to grad school there.
Up until last week I had to test for coming back to Canada and it was always sooooo stressful.

One thing I have started doing, and will continue to do, is to self test at home with the green Binax kits a couple of days before I go.
It really really helps keep the anxiety at bay and it will let you plan a little bit ahead instead of the day before you are supposed to leave.

Just a thought to help ease the stress!

I just flew from Vancouver to Hawaii a few weeks ago. I used an approved home test (quickvue) and scheduled an online proctored test for $20. It was nice bc I could keep rescheduling as needed for free through the app (begins with an a- I found it by googling telehealth covid and the name of test). It was nervewracking! lol. azova was the site/app

We had booked separate sequential times on two different accounts (1 per adult) and upon my request, they merged them together on the spot during appt and tested us all together (including my child- so 3 of us). When you hang up, you send them the results in one picture.

Here right now. We used Shoppers Drug Mart on the Thursday evening, stayed at the Gateway and flew out of Toronto with a Calgary stopover…..makes for a long day. It is very busy on the island of Oahu and mask mandates are no longer in effect. Enjoy!

I'll be arriving May 6th from Vancouver and staying at Aulani until May 14 :) I plan on booking the appointment with acculab.ca and doing the Rapid Response test that I already have. I did it already a few weeks ago for my return trip from Las Vegas and was very happy with the process.

Still need a test to get into the US though. Everyone is giving advice for testing to go to Hawaii.

Booked in at Shoppers Drug Mart. Super nervous that we'll test positive and have to cancel!
